First things first...
REAL: Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Prov. 3:27
CULTURED: The willingness to share does not make one charitable; it makes one free. ~Robert Brault,
:) Stupid you say? Just because I thought an innuendo was an Italian suppository.
REAL: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. John 15:12
CULTURED: Love' unites . . . It is like a city where every citizen shares with all the others the city's name, honor, freedom, trade, customs, usages, help, support, protection, and the like, while at the same time he shares all the dangers of fire and flood, enemies and death, losses taxes and the like. For he who would share in the profits must also share in the costs, and ever recompense love with love. Martin Luther
:) Those who get too big for their britches will be totally exposed in the end.
God prospers us not to raise our standard of living, but our standard of giving.

Stewardship Thought for the Week
John the Baptist....what a great example of one of God's stewards! He actively put to use all the gifts God gave him. So it is with us as! All the things we think, do, and say in faith (apart from sin), are actions of a steward of God.
